Sr. Financial Analyst (onsite in Sherman Oaks)

We are seeking a Los Angeles based strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in supporting our fast-paced company. This role will play a key part in driving financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across marketing, commercial, and operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of the CPG and retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Analyze monthly performance, identifying key drivers of variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, e-commerce, and operations teams to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support product margin analysis, pricing strategy, and inventory planning.
• Provide data-driven insights to influence strategic initiatives including channel profitability, product launches, and promotional strategies.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards and presentations with actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Support monthly close process as needed.
• Lead ad-hoc financial analysis and special project requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
• FA - 3+ years and SFA 5+ of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the CPG, retail, or e-commerce space.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs such as gross margin, sell-through rates, inventory turns, and LFL sales.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data into clear insights.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to move projects forward independently while staying aligned with cross-functional partners.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. 
• Ability to commute to Sherman Oaks, CA at least 3x/week
